Belgium Grand Prix 2010, Spa-Francorchamps Circuit - Race 13/19

Glad to see Lewis maintain his position throughout the race to take his first Spa win.

Getting increasingly frustrated with Vettel's ego and inexperience and a drive-through was definitely not a sufficient punishment even for such accident.

Also very nice to see Rosberg pip Schumacher having conceeded his place earlier.

Lol at Horner making it out like every incident wasn't Vettels fault!

He hit Button, no doubt, though it looks like a mix between losing the car in breaking and Button certainly seemed to break a little early, not much though, such an odd looking crash. ITs very very rare to see a car clearly behind, lose it, spin and hit the car infront.

But everything else, I can't think of all the incidents, it was Alonso pulling out into Vettel in the pit lane wasn't it, and it was without question Luizi's fault, I mean he was past him, Luizzi just turned back in to early.

Incredibly daft of people to say its a two horse race, ONE RACE people, Webber and Hamilton have one crash, failure or major problem and the other three finish 1-2-3 and they are basically exactly where they were before this race.

Last season the gap now would make it a two horse race as what is it, 35 points between Button/Hamilton would require 4 victories with no more than 5 points gained by Hamilton for Button to get back in it. So 4 bad races for Hamilton, this season, at 25 points a win, potentially in two races Button could be 15 points ahead of Hamilton.

Not close to over.

Did Jake just drop the ipad! :D

Anthony Davidson, commentator/presenter for the future?

Think he might have done, or slammed it into the metal tv rack.

As for Anthony Davidson I think he will stay with 5 Live for the forseable future, as having two former racing drivers as commentators doesn't work quite so well I feel. You need somebody who isn't, like Murray, James Allen, Legard etc... who can commentate but then turn to the driver commentator to ask his opinion. With two drivers, they are either going to be fighting over what they think or one will just say what they think without a kind of turn over to ask a question.

Button really is a great example of how an F1 driver should conduct themselves I think. He's clearly very annoyed but he keeps restrained, discusses the issue, cracks a bit of a joke and all without firing off at someone in public. It just develops a feeling of respect for the guy.

Peerless today Lewis, he has all the ingredients to be the greatest of this generation.

I've been saying this for quite a while now...ever since he matched Alonso in his very first season. That was one heck of an achievement.

Why is everybody jumping on Vettel? He made an error. He slammed into Button. Not on purpose. He ruined his own race as well as Button's. It was a racing incident.

Barrichello also slammed into Alonso. These things happen.

For whatever reason, when other drivers make an error, nothing is said of it, yet when Vettel makes an error, people seem to direct 4-letter words at him. Notice how when Webber does the same, not a single bad word is said about him.

Can't see any advantage of Vettel appearing on the F1 Forum, not going to admit anything, will blame Button's braking. The Vettel usual...

Why is everybody jumping on Vettel?

Because of the way he conducts himself afterwards and (usually) blames other people for things that were clearly his fault.

I think today is the first time he has admitted he just made a mistake and apologised for doing it.

Though he did go on to solely blame Liuzzi for driving into him for their coming together.

That's because the other drivers don't hesitate to admit their mistake. Vettel ALWAYS blames something or someone else!
