Belinea 102035W

Digital Vibrance is in, right click on desktop then properties/settings/advance/nvidiacard/colour correction.

I only moved this up a tiny amount.
Not touched any brightness or contrast settings in here.

Onscreen display settings are
Contrast is 60
Brighness is 30

Just played for 2 hours and i can say this screen is excellent. Was scared at first about making the swap to TFT, glad i have now.
Everything is so crisp and clean, bright and sharp.
No ghosting at all and I concider the game I play to be quite fast paced.

Was there a big difference in image quality from VGA to DVI?

I can't notice any difference or not sure because I had it on dual monitor before at a non-native resolution, but the bleeding is greatly reduced, I don't notice it.

Everyone who has said they have greatly reduced the backlight bleeding, could you please take a screenshot of the screen displaying a completely black background in an unlit room with no flash please.

Im torn between getting this monitor now, or saving for the Eizo.

Thanks a lot.

Go for the Belinea - don't forget that you have the Distance Selling Act to fall back on. If you get dead or lazy pixels, you can always return it to OC UK within 7 days.

Can't say I'm very familiar with the act. Do you have to give a good reason ? Or is it the equivalent of trying a pair of jeans on in a clothes shop?

Any reason, actually, I don't think you need a reason at all. you have 7 days to inspect the product and return it in its original condition with all the packaging for a refund.

Hi, just recieved mine today. Have to say the picture is just stunning, playing COD2 and HL2 is fantastic. I havent noticed any blurring at all. My backlight doesn't seem too bad but it is bleeding ever so slightly from the corners but more form the top left. Zero dead pixels too. The bleed isnt too bad so far, i have turned the brightness right down though as it was burning my eyes out. I have to say that the picture/build quality, maxdata's excellent backup and the sheer sexiness of the thing out weighs the backlight bleed, highly recommended.

Any chance you could take a picture of it displaying a black background in an unlit room with no flash please?

Thanks.

Hi guys,
I've been using my Belinea102035 for a couple of weeks.....it's not good enough for me in FPS games.
Apart of that, the screen is the best one i've ever had for everything else.
If you mostly want a screen to surf the web, watch DVD's/DivX, or even play games like WOW or alikes, then this screen will dramatically improve the experience!

I've edited the rest of your post out since selling outside Members Market is not allowed. Please read the FAQ

In the Nvidia display settings there is a page "Digital Flat Panel settings" but you only get this with a DVI connection and not analog VGA.

Any idea how to get that page show up when I have two monitors connected, one with DVI and one with VGA? Show up for the DVI one that is.

You need to have been a member for 90 days and have a post count in excess of 250. I'm nowhere near yet but that's probably a good thing as it removes another form of temptaion. :D

well is it good for gaming? yes or no

I have also had one for a few weeks and find it awesome for games. I can't see any ghosting, the colours are vibrant and the picture is clear & bright. But from a FPS perspective it is so subjective - I think you can find discussions on most <16ms TFTs and find 2 polar camps on whether there is ghosting and the like.
I'd be interested to know for what reason graphicsxp found it not good enough for games?

I am about to order one and would like your opinion just for reassurance. I was looking for a 19"+ widescreen tft in the range of £300-400. Main use will be watching movies, digital TV, office work and surfing. Would like it to be sharp, bright, easy on the eyes and have wide viewing angles. Does the belinea fit the above reqs? Are there any alternatives?
And will I have any trouble using the DVI from my ATI 9700 (not for games obviously!)? I was pretty happy with my old LG L1710b, will the belinea feel much better? Thanks in advance for your replies, I will post pics of the screen if I finally get it!
