Belinea 102035W

No PiP, but it should scale when using DVi but you may need to enable your display adapters scaling options. Im not using DVi with mine so cant test it. Others in the thread im sure have said it scales under DVi.

What do you mean by scaling? stretching a 4:3 image to 16:10 ?

I don't want to stretch it, I rather watch it with black boarders.

No i mean with black borders. Mine stretches images because im using VGA at the moment. Im sure if you look back through the thread, theres pictures of it running a 4:3 image with borders.

*edit* Look at the reply from LabR@t above with all the links to piccies in. Some of the show what you are looking for.

I'm sure i read somewhere that only the nVidia cards do this, Ati don't. I may be wrong, but it would be good if someone could confirm one way or the other before Raymond forks out his cash.

Well, if its Nvidia only then this monitor is not for me, I just got the X800XTPE a few months ago and I aam not going to spent another £200 on a Graphic card.

That basically leaves me with no choice, don't want a TN panel so Viewsonic 2012 is no good. Dell 2005 has backlight bleeds, guess i'll have to fork out the extra £££ when viewsonic eventually release the VA2022.

ATI Does have the scalling feature, but it has no effect on my current lcd monitor as it handles the scalling it self. Would be nice if the feature can be confirmed working or not on this monitor as id like to get the belinia while its a great price.
The equivelent viewsonic VA2012W is priced totaly wrong (paying for the name) as its pretty much same as the belinia and costs a lot more. In fact costing the same as the far more feature packed dell 2005fpw. This is reason enough to believe the upcomming VX20xxW isnt gonnahave a nice price tag either :(

although I'm not sgoaty ;), I thought I would reply to this anyway, to be honest, I would get a replacement. The bleeding is actually quite bad, the hassle will be worth it if you get a better replacement. That leakage would drive me nuts, I just dont think I could turn all the lights out and watch a dvd or play games like FEAR or Thief and not be distracted by it. You've shelled out over £300, you deserve better!! :p

I have Bleeding how did you get on ringing them? whats the procedure to get replacement

maxdata are now aware of this thread on this forum, spoken to them twice today with regard to my monitor, seems they want to get this sorted for me as quickly as possible.

I informed them that this issue with backlight leakage was becomming more common with people, and they asked me how i came to this conclusion. I informed them that i found out by looking on here, and the chap went on here to look while i was on the phone.

So hopefully they know there is some kind of flaw or there has been a bad batch of these monitors that has been made.

They have offered to swap out the monitor again, but i have told them im not prepared to have another one unless its tested.

Will keep people informed on my progress with maxdata.

citylink are crap, they never attempted to deliver my monitor today, all day the tracking status says currently on van. Phoned them up and they lie about "ye it will be with you before 5:30pm" liars!

Would i be able to get a credit back on the carriage from overclockers?

as i paid for nextday and it never came next day.. overclockers could claim the fee back off citylink for failure of delivery nextday do you think?

city link suck they sent mine to wrong depot, so i had to wait extra day and do 50mile round trip to pick up ¬!

Out the box the brightness is 100 which is way too bright imo. I have turned it down to 30 as suggested in another thread. Now i dont get any bleed through.
Looking at this screen now I think i can turn it down some more.
Digital vibrance I also turned up a little and it made it look a whole lot better.
