Any body know what is causing the benQ to have random flashes.

question for PCM2, what GPU would you say is the bare minimum to drive 4k in games? i.e. what did you play gta5 and battlefield with?

FWIW, I am playing the Witcher 3 with a R9 290 at 2560x1440, ultra settings and hairworks off and getting 40-45 FPS. The monitor is upscaling to UHD and I am happy with this result.

I get around 25FPS playing at above settings with UHD resolution. VRAM usage at this res is > 3GB so be wary of that.

I own two, and contributed in that thread. Note that they /do/ have problems, namely they have problem syncing, even with a very good cable.

It's not critical, and definitely doesn' get worse (had mine since march) but worth mentioning. Otherwise, two of them side by side FTW :-)

You're going to love it. Spent the first two hours after setting it up properly playing with wallpapers and then the next 2 hrs watching 4k videos.

Loads of sites. I just used google image search and that comes up with loads of 4k desktop sites and then I just went browsing.

So many stunning pictures to choose from I am spoilt.

It has arrived...absolutely epic!

Colours are superb and no dead pixels and no back light bleeding issues that I can see either

In awe of the 4k movies!

EDIT - Just fired up Project Cars....980ti managing 80-90fps in fraps and silky smooth....looking superb!..is this the most underrated 4k screen ever?

It does seem to not get the mentions it deserves.

It ticks all my boxes and I yet to hear of one with backlight bleed.

It can have minor issues with its dp cable and signal but thats fixable.

But overall for the money I dont think I could have done better.

You watched the costa rica 4k video yet?
