XL2730Z Firmware Update

Oh yeah Shankly1985 I think it was between like 24 and 36 hours before I got a response to my initial e-mail for the RMA I'm not sure what the delay was there!

Just had a text from repairtech saying my monitor will be delivered back to me tomorrow by DPD. So turn around will have been 7 working days. :D

Just came here to post exactly the same! Except my turnaround is only 5 working days. :)

I'll post back to confirm everything is working as it should be, fingers crossed.

Well i'm on day day 4 since repairtech UK received mine for the update and still haven't herd anything yet ,,,, come on im waiting to finish far cry 4 dlc lol i don't want to on my old screen lol

just raised my support ticket, important to get this fixed now for the arrival of my Fury X lol.

You made the right choice to have the update,,it will be worth it in the end .
I wasn't going to bother with the update , Im glad i did now, I just hope that it doesn't get damaged in the process as this is just my luck:eek:

That is my concern, they don't have the best track record. Think I will make a ticket too.

Edit: ticket raised :)

I think you'll get no info whether or not they have received the monitor and the update having been done it just arrives back at your home address !! boom! its so nice, I can't wait for you guys to give your feedback on the AMA enabled on the DisplayPort cable .... its soooooo damn nice, on what was already a beautiful display!

It did take about 24hrs or so for benQ to respond to the ticket for me in the uk, and then another two days for the service centre/RepairTech in the UK to inform me that collection was going to happen , although i had to email them to chase them up bout arranging collection by DPD .

From the 1st of july i think ive read

So is this a manufacturer thing or a download that anyone can do, looking forward to the NDA lift so we can see the reviews and benchmarks etc. Im on the green side at the moment, but a new build is in the works and maybe a switch to the reds, just worry's me with past problems with driver updates in CC which is holding me back but its great news for AMD so far, just hope the hype for them will be good in the end for all us gamers on both sides. Exciting times indeed.:D

I'm too with green team atm (780 sli ) but have this monitor and waiting for the fury X card to surface for my change over to the read team.

As far as the monitor goes for the firmware update, you have to send it back to BenQ , which has been free for us in the Uk,i don't know about other parts of the world .

It takes 7-10 working days about turn around .Im on day 4 so hopefully may have it back for the weekend fingers crossed

Ok so best wait until we can buy the monitor with update as and from 1st july then, thats that sorted now its just wait for the bench marks, im planning for fury x and watercool it when EKWB bring out the waterblock, but its just a matter of bench marks and smooth game play now, come on AMD lift the NDA lol.:D
