Hi guys, have any of you with this monitor been previous owners of a 24" BenQ XL2420Z ? I only ask as I had that monitor before and performance wise it was perfect but the colours were completely intolerable (so bad it may of well been black and white).
No amount of osd tweaks, calibration, ICC profiles etc could compensate for how poor it looked - I had to send it back.
I have been looking into the Asus MG279Q IPS 144hz, Freesync monitor but the 90hz limitation (with increased input lag), poor quality control and lack of any blur reduction features is giving me cold feet.
I am an IPS fan boy and the thought of blowing £500 on a TN panel makes me nervous!
Many thanks in advance for any views / opinions![]()
bake73 I chucked mine in a samsung box with the stand attached and everything, they knew it was from me and what it was, so it was OK I guess, I would try to use the BenQ box though!
Just another quick update ,,
but could someone else please tell if if they think that text on web pages look clearer and sharper than before the update , especially white on black ,,, because to me its does ,, or its because ive been using my old IPS 1080X1920 screen for a few days. but i'm sure i didn't notice this kind of clarity when i first got it.
thanks

As you see on my previous post, everything is crisper and had better colours than before, not only in game but windows and browsers.
Is not you only![]()
