1 more sleep until Die Hard on the big screen!!

I can’t promise not to nut :D

/away to listen to the DieHard song on YouTube’s on repeat

We’re gona Die! Die! Die! Die Hard!!!

The problem I have with Die Hard, Home Alone and Lethal Weapon is that I saw them at other times of the year so I don't treat them as Christmas movies.

Love Actually is the most over-played Christmas movie.

No matter how much I love Disney, Frozen most definitely ISN'T a Christmas movie!

My no.1 Christmas movie is The Snowman.

I think it was last year that there was a big anniversary for the snowman, saw a couple of documentaries about it. I'd never seen it (knew the song of course). So I committed to do so. Felt it was ok, but no big deal to be honest, I guess when it came out it was a different time and can understand that many have a nostalgia for certain things that hit them in a particular way, but this 60 year definitely didn't get enthralled by it.

For xmas day watching status, think the answer is not a legacy movie - but the rare specimen of a new good quality movie ;
to wit - started watching Kenneth Branners Belfast last night - will continue it as a family film on xmas day, that, or Ferrari looks good.

Die Hard at the movie theater was superb!! Knew I was in for a treat when the bass hit for John's airplane flyover landing scene :D One of the stand out scenes was "come out to the coast"

National Lampoon's
Elf
Last Christmas

These are the 3 we watch every year, can add Die Hard (just to annoy the missus :cry:) to that list but we haven't watched it yet

I thought Violent Night was reasonably good. Worth a watch.

Miracle on 34th Street (Original) rather basic movie, but Christmassy enough.

Scrooged, I can't say I can remember watching that before, but was good fun.
