Come on guys, HL1 deserves more love I still remember the first time I played it. It was just something else. I think it depends on which titles you grew up with really - they'll have a bigger impact.

COD 4 for overall experience SP and MP.

Half life 2 sucked after about 1-2 hrs of playing. Allthough HL1 was a benchmark!

One of the first I realy enjoyed was Medal of Honour: Allied Assault...and RTCW arround the same time.

Odd that no one has said bioshock yet i thought it was a really good game. I thought of saying bioshock but "Best Ever" prob not sadly

Quake 3, i loved many games before and after it, but Quake 3 just kept me and my mate going back for more for what felt like forever!
