Best Retro Handheld

Sadly, the website has backed up the conclusion I've made from a number of other sources which is that I should buy the retroid pocket 5 despite the big pile of other emulation devices that I have here!

I think it is the best one for the money at the moment. Mostly due to it's OLED screen, which is nicer than even the iPhone one apparently.

If anything, it's another small device to stream YouTube or Netflix on if you don't have a tablet and save the phone for surfing and other stuff when travelling.

Yeah, this is my conclusion as well. I've not had one of the android based devices so the added stuff you get from that ecosystem might save taking another device in some circumstances. If it wasn't for the potential of long delivery, I probably would have ordered before Christmas! I'm just looking for something with a really nice screen and slightly higher system emulation than the RGx ones get (although I do love my SP for ease of use / pick up and put down)

They ship pretty much next day now. Someone got theirs today and they ordered on the 23rd and shipped via 4Px. Although probably not next day if you order today because it's like 8am in Hong Kong/China now so they would likely ship on Thursday.

And there we go, easy way to spend over £200 on something I shouldn't really have bought! Still, always good to have a new bit of tech. Went for black after the comments of the improved bezel effect.

Yeah, I was super tempted, and by the GC one for the different look to most other stuff I've got. I did order the extra set of buttons though for a bit of the retro flair!

One minor annoyance I'm finding with the min UI is that even though I've got game boy advance set to grid screen effect, whenever I turn the device on I always have to manually switch to it because it's like it forgets the default.
