Best Retro Handheld

Saw the TrimUI Smart Pro can be hand for under £50 but still holding off at the moment. I think the extra functionality of YouTube Netflix and so much makes the device more usable.

I do want to re live pokemon Yellow soon though haha.

Don't let the lack of YouTube stops you, you always have your phone anyway.

Buy a trimui brick because you never just own one hand held
I had ruled the brick out but I don’t know why. It would be a very close like for like for a gameboy colour.

Good point, thinking there would be few and far between scenarios where I would “need” that function.

YouTube on that size screen would be like going back to a phone from 2008. It would be very difficult to "touch" any buttons on a screen that size.

On AliExpress, do you have a preferred seller or just get consoles from cheapest one you can find ?
Thinking of that tiny A30 or Brick for starters... Suppose brick gives option to customize ?!

Usually go with in this order of preference and importance...

1 - Official store
2 - Most number sold, with good ratings to go with it.
3 - Cheapest/Free delivery (combined total)

I got the Brick from someone call Ampown Store.

Just got my Miyoo flip today, will have a play a bit later but it looks much better than I thought it would and the hinge actually feels really good.

Also the buttons are nice and not too "clicky" like the Anbernic clam shell one i had.

Let us know how you get on. I am tempted but not for 150 sheets considering the Brick was only 40. However, as much as I think the Brick is quality, it is extremely small for my fat man hands!

This thing is taking forever to set up....I am only part way done.

First, I formatted my 256G micro SD to FAT32....only notice my error when some of the larger games over 4gb wouldn't fit.

Then the bigger problem. The github page for the PS3 emulator NetherSX2, according to Russ from RGC, there is a .bat file...however, there isn't now! So is there another PS2 emulator that I can use?

Something had to be said about this screen, it's amazing!

What device? Presuming if you're (attempting) to emulate PS3 it's a Steam Deck... or you meant PS2. AethersX2?

Needs to be formatted as exFAT
I followed Russ's guide literally a couple of weeks ago and was all good on PS2 side.

Retroid Pocket 5.

AethersX2 is no longer supported.

I was doing that last night, the NetherSX2 I downloaded, when unzipped, the .bat file he was referring to is now a .CMD file.

Do you still have that download in your hard drive?

I think I used Classic version, which has the BAT. I assume the Patch version cmd is just the same?

NOTE: No APKs are provided due to licensing issues. You have to build it yourselves using the above methods
