With the chase app, what do you do in the event you changed your mobile number?

Do you just change it in the app contact details.

They're still the only current account that offers ongoing 1% cashback without a fee as far as I'm aware. That's pretty decent, although probably offset business wise by the fact they offer sightly lower rates on saving.

So what's the gotcha to Natwest's Digital Regular Saver which offers 6.17% AER (6.00% Gross)? You just need to be a Natwest customer, which shouldn't be too hard to achieve.

These are good rates but max is 5k for the 6%, anything over and it drops to 1%, plus you can only put up to £150 a month into this account.

I see. So you can't just dump a lump sum in and pay £1/month to get the monthly interest?

Nope, for lump sums your best going with some of the other banking apps mentioned in here that offer 3%+, like Chase, Chip….

Zopa's basic rate for their instant saver is still 3.21%. There's also 3 levels of pot you can open with notice periods to get a little more (7 days: 3.25%, 31 days: 3.31%, 95 days: 3.47%). They've been slower to react to the interest rate increases but it has remained higher than most instant access.

Someone did point out you cannot add to a pot that has notice served on it, I.E. You've requested to take that money out and you're waiting. I'm not agressively saving and hoping to throw my pot at a house so not an issue for me but useful to know for those frequently moving about.

Ah ok, Im still happy with Chase, the slightly higher rates from the others are not enough to make me jump, and I like the 1% cash back using the current account.
