Best SIM only deal for Nexus 4?

Can anyone find any t&cs for Threes One plan.

Add on tethering is only 1GB, but its not an add on with the one plan, it comes as standard and some on the Internet are saying its unlimited tethering, but can find anything on Threes site.

Right I've spoken to Three again now that the accounts section of their website appears to be working again and I've been told that I can't have the £3 for all you can eat data added to my £6.90 plan, they've said that the £3 add-on is only for 24 month contracts, but I can have the £5 rolling 30 day all you can eat data added.

Can anyone clarify that they've got the £3 data added on their 12 month sim only contract successfully?

I need to start looking into these too. I'm sick to death of O2's crap network in my area (which rules out Giff-Gaff as well) and their reluctance to ever admit there's a problem.

They said the same to me when I called yesterday (look above) and that I could only add the package for £5. I told them I'd called customer services before I ordered and checked it was possible to add the package for £3 and they said yes. Said I was really unhappy they were now reneging and wanted to cancel. They offered to credit me £12 so it was effectively £3 for 6 months, I refused and eventually they called back and offered to credit £24 so that it works out at £3 a month.

So just be hard with them and tell them that you've been told on Twitter, or tell them on the website you can add it on the 12 month contract. You can't even get 24 month SIMO with them so just threaten to leave / cancel the contract or something.

Also, their terms and conditions state that they can add this on:

The store likely won't know about that offer - my local store didn't.

As for the tethering addon...you should be fine without it, but of course, if you need it, go for it. Either way, the deal is rather amazing.

Aren't there ways around tethering blocks? Sure I've seen options in the play store?

Slightly back on topic, how does TCB work? I've created an account, clicked the link on the site to the three mobile and found the contract. I saw a message saying my visit has been recorded. So now, if I purchase a deal, does TCB give me the money within 7 days?

After what I can only describe as a farce with Three I've managed to get something that resembles what I expected.

They wouldn't enable the £3 per month, and I genuinely believe they can't as no one seems to be able to force it through. In the end a manager has given me the £5 all you can eat rolling data add-on with a free month and £10 credit.

So with the total cashback I'll pay £84.80 over the year rather than the £75.80 I'd have paid if I got the £3 per month option. However this way I suppose I'm paying the extra £9 to be able to remove it any time I wish should I find myself not using over the 500mb.

Not easy though, I went through 5 different people and in the end was looped round back to the beginning and asked for a supervisor who gave me the deal, I didn't think my nerves could take hanging on for a further £9 credit :p

Incidentally, every person I spoke to is under the impression that you can add the £3 add-on without any trouble, it's only when they put it through that they're hit with an error, get confused, and then seem to be instructed to up-sell a more expensive contract.

I guess they must have changed it then, myself and a few others are already on the £3 add on for unlimited data... I rang up a couple of weeks ago for mine and it went through without a hitch. Still sounds like you got a good deal anyway.

Just ordered my giffgaff sim. When I receive it and have activated, how do I go about actually adding the £10 (soon to be £12) goody bag?

EDIT: Stupidly forgot I need a micro sim. Can I just cut it shape?

You need to wait an hour or two for them to activate it on their end, then all the buying options will show up in your account when you login to the Giffgaff site.

As far as I recall they now ship it with the ability to pop out the micosim if needed.

Ordered my Virgin £12pm rolling contract to boost my data allowance for use with the n4 and n10 I plan on getting (I have o2 on and on as my main contract).

Managed to source an e586 mifi on the bay so will let you know whether I have any issues tethering once I receive everything for anyone else interested in a similar setup.

Me: that was it thanks, I'll try to pop in this afternoon

Umm, really?!

On Giffgaff when you top up to get your Goodybag... do you get to spend the credit too like on standard PAYG, for example on international calls etc? Or you have to top up extra if you want to spend money outside your free allowances?

Anyone know this?
