Best X570 Motherboards

Gigabyte X570 I AORUS Pro WiFi

1 x addressable LED strip header 3 Pin (5V Digital)
1 x RGB LED strip header (4 Pin 12V G R B)
1 x CPU PWN fan header Grey ( Can use fan splitter) 2 x fans
1 x system PWN fan header Black, (website specs wrong say 2.) in fact the Chipset Fan is plugged into system fan header 2

Nice to know you can RIP that chipset fan out of the system fan header 2

Anyone know who this eTeknix is? How did he get to be so lucky to get his hands on one of those already? Spoken whilst throwing my toys out of the pram.

Whilst OC3D is pro Asus or heavily influenced ( though seems now Gigabyte has thrown boards at them after z370 and rightly so as they have turned correct criticism into a good product), etek i believe is friendly with Gigabyte . You'll see few websites/reviewers/bloggers etc gain access to brands quicker then others etc .

and this is were nvidia using their muscle to get focus on their Super cards due to SOOO many products coming in on the 7th....

What should i be looking for on these itx boards then ? i want it for gaming, i dont overclock as i wouldnt know where to start, it doesnt need to be top of there line but i dont want bottom of the line. Ive probably ruled out getting a 470 as i would need to get a cpu to flash the bios and that would put the cost up and make it nearer the price of a 570 board so i may as well get one of those unless there £100+ more expensive over last years equivalent,Are we expecting them to be that much more expensive ? Whats the best manufacturer to go to ? probably be running a 3600x/3700x

I own the Asrock b450, All great with Sound blaster cinema 5, can OC all fine if needed, its the motherboard using now for my ITX build
3600 & 3700 Low 65watt TDP run very good cool
I am running the old 1st gen ryzen 7 1700 8core OC on all cores up to 3900mhz pushing over 105watt TDP

Also may go for the Gigabyte B450-I AORUS Pro WiFi £115 :)

As mentioned i would need a AMD cpu to upgrade the bios to run the ryzen 3000's so that would be another £50+ so that puts them around £200, i imagine the new x570s will be around £200-£250 so probably best off buying one of those, if i already had a ryzen cpu or the bios was already flashed then i would probably get a b450 or x470.

MSI has feature for flashing BIOS without CPU (or memory/GPU) in many of their AM4 boards, but unfortunately B450I Gaming Plus isn't on that list.

That mobo has one of the better CPU VRMs of current AM4 mobos with 6x IR3555 and would be certainly very capable to feeding Zen2s, including 12 core.

Though maybe OcUK could update BIOS, if you buy all parts from them.

Best ITX mobos of Asus have 6x 40A max IR3553 instead of 60A IR3555.
Gigabyte's B450 ITX uses 4x IR3556 with 50A max.

For X470 there simply aren't much of good smaller than ATX mobos with good VRM.
Maybe X570 corrects that finally, but have to fear that price sticker might have taken dive in Dead Sea for the likely saltiness of it.

Yea none of the itx motherboards can be flashed without a cpu.
