US: Better Call Saul

I felt sorry for Kim. Howard had obviously told her what was going on when he told her to shut the door. You could tell it was breaking her heart to see Jimmy thinking she wasn't supporting him when she knew the truth but couldn't tell him because she knew it would break his heart.

This show is brilliant. Gutted that next week is the last episode of the season :(

So then.. Who else thought that it was going to be Jesse that Mike had to protect? They even teased it with the crappy wagon and then when he got out of the car and it just showed his trainers/joggers?

Also again a great speech by Mike telling the guy who sold the pills he is a criminal... Excellent!

Nice series, it does feel like it was designed to compliment breaking bad show and go off in its own direction which it has, but yeah I have forgot most of the original BB series. Almost an excuse to rewatch the whole series again!

S'all good man, geddit?

Just watched the 9 episodes back to back, very good.

The Mike episode was incredible, I remember hearing how he got the role on BB by happy accident because he happened to be working on set/there was a plot hole they needed to fill - is that true? His character is incredibly compelling.

This is going to get very interesting if they start to weave it with events in BB as they unfold.

I just want to stand up for BB in it's first season, many have said it was boring to begin with but I was kind of gripped by it from the start when it aired. I only started to flag during mid Season 2.

Anyway, Better Call Saul has surpassed my expectations completely.

Still leaves everything very open though. He's done with old people it seems and 'doing the right thing', obvously the only thing holding him back was not wanting to dissapoint Chuck in anyway. Season 2 should be pretty good.

I liked how this season really went full circle and it was a great demonstration of how prioritising character development over complex or involved plot can often be vastly superior.
