US: Better Call Saul

We felt disappointed with episode 10. It was so slow... Nothing major happened. It just seemed like they wanted to wrap things up and get us ready for season 2. Did not feel like season finale at all.

Episode 9 on the other hand was great. Overall I enjoyed season 1, had a few slow episodes, but you just got to love Bob Odenkirk :D

It's just following Breaking Bad in that aspect, where the penultimate episode was always the more action packed and had things happening and then the final one set things up for the next season.

Slow burner really. If it was not based on BB and by the BB guys It would never get a second season. Because it is you know it will get better and stronger. I am looking fwd to future events

Got about 6 episodes in and gave up. Considered starting again but not sure whether to bother. Does it pick up at all?

This.

Watch it until the end, the ending of the first season wasn't great but it made it clear a second season is coming. For me, if I hadn't watched BB before it I don't think I would have kept interest, but because I know his part in BB I want to see the run up to being Saul, not Jimmy. I'm looking forward to the next season and agree with Jim, you know it will get better.

I am looking fwd to post Walter stuff. Not sure how or if that will pan out but would be cool if it does. It's a personal thing but i have always hated prequel type movies and shows.
