Applied but had no email as of yet
I think the price is a bit cheeky considering it's literally BF4 on new maps, with new models and a game mode which is an alteration of a current. Things like this used to be sold as an "expansion" at a reduced price.
Thats exactly what they said about battlefield vietnam and battlefield 2142
Vietnam was just 1942 with vietnam skins and 2142 was just battlefield 2 with future skins.
Its hardly a new thing.
I'm not denying you right, but you talk as if this is the first time its ever happened. DICE have done this repeatedly in the franchise history.

So me saying it's cheeky is saying it like it's the first time?
Can I not complain about a trend and exemplify how it also used to be done?
Just because it has, does not mean it's right - or good, for the consumer.
its not really cheeky though is it ? its just normal practice for publishers like EA and Activision.
Look at EAs sports game that re use huge chunks of previous years games but then just re skin them with this years strips and teams.
Just had my first round, maps are nice, gameplay meh, Weapons seem nerfed.
We’re aware that some players who have been selected for the Battlefield Hardline beta, and who have successfully downloaded and installed the game, are being directed back to the beta registration page after clicking “Play” in Origin.
If this is happening to you, please try this workaround.
Log-in to Origin.
Go to your Origin “My Games” tab.
Right click “Battlefield Hardline Beta” and click “View Game Details”.
Locate and copy the Product Key.
Click the Origin menu in the top left of the screen and select “Redeem Product Code”.
Follow the flow to redeem the Product code.
Now log out of both Origin and Battlelog.
Log back into Battlelog (do NOT log back into Origin yet)
From the top drop down menu select Battlefield Hardline.
This should now be the correct Battlelog site and allow you to log into the game.
Select quick match and Origin will automatically start up, log in and activate the game.
You should now be able to access and enjoy the Battlefield Hardline beta.
Normal Practice = Can't be a rip off?
Of course it can!
