BF Hardline Visceral Games

I agree with you on the naming thing but using your example of Fifa and Fifa street. They are two separate games that release quite close to each other.

If you get a wonky BF game, it takes a long time before another one is out. I think that's most peoples gripe. Its mine anyway.

Me and buddies are smashing it out atm , as said helis control the flow of Hotwire , asking as the rest of the team is jacking cars the heli is an absolute game changer , stealing theirs is just evil . Noob tubers are to effective , more so than snipers imo. One shot kill for a headshot with a sniper but requires a follow up shot when shot anywhere else . That tube can take out one vehicle instantly , needs to be 1 hit and a tiny little bit so there's actually time to escape or deal with the enemy .

Yeah I really don't like the helicopter.
Me and 2 friends were pretty much cleaning up shop last night and denying the enemy the use of theirs, after that there is nothing on some maps that can actually do anything about you.

As much fun as it is, it's too powerful. It's like a loud and annoying drunk fool at a gathering when everyone else tries to avoid him, ruins the fun for the guys on the ground :p

But it's really funny chasing a bike a few meters behind it when he has a passenger! :D

...

also its funny how many people are wishing for more BFBC2, i remember people hating on it calling it a console bf.

How time changes thing...

Yeah, but BFBC2 did suffer from some major console based issues. You couldn't strafe while running and you couldn't go prone, and the game in general felt arcadey compared to BF2 (some small maps too), but BFBC2 totally nailed the map design, rush game mode and weapon feel.

BF3 was a mixed bag because it did some of BC2 right much worse.

Regarding Hardline it feels too arcadey, the pacing seems too fast, and makes it feel more like a run and gun/spray and pray game than a game that'll reward tactical gameplay.

bf isnt a esl comp game. wont be on frostbite engine.

the reason they done hardline is because they dropped Medal of honor for a more modern audience.

so it will sell well. regardless.

doesn't matter if you wont buy it. for every vet who don't buy modern bf games 10 new will. that's how they see it. so saying stuff bf makes no difference as the audience its aimed at will buy.

That's why EA continue to lower the threshold, take any skill based emphasis and suck it right out just to give the 12 year olds their noob crutches

they do it to sell more games !

its that simple. if everyone can play it from your 5 year ld to a 90 grandma its win win for them. if only pc purists can play it what good is that to them business wise ?

so the easier they make it more money.

got nothing to do with skill they just want more money.
