BF2 Team [OcUK] intersted?

does anyone mind if i join in, i won't get the chance to play much but i'll be in the [OcUK]bf2 chatroom and play on the server when i can.

names rob, and my bf2 name is robgough.

see you on there!

Use the teamspeak, I will be on it a lot during the day and evenings, plus you get to hear Malc who is one of the best personalities I have met online, top bloke once you get used to his articulate use of the English language. :)

will do next time i'm on... not got teamspeak downloaded atm, and only got till the gf gets home before i have to stop playing... and i've no idea how long that is!

i think we should all be using the above forum yhack kindly made for us to discuss anything to do with the [OcUK] bf2 team .
it should help encourage members to feel part of the clan more and it can be a central point for discussions, information and organising games.

Sorry mate but i think you are getting a bit ahead of yourself.
We are discussing server rules and ideas verbally via teamspeak rather than laying them down in text as you have.
One thing we want to avoid are BS rules.
We want to be ULTRA diplomatic and user friendly.
We need to discuss the future server rules much further with ALL of us not one dude decide and post them.
Thanks anyway.

thats fine to do, but for those who cant make the teamspeak discussions wouldnt it be prudent to at least make notes of whats been talked about , whether here or on our own forum?
i only suggest ideas for the team, not for my benefit and therefore encourage everyones input so not to subvert to draconian rules/leadership.

cheers m8

I have to say I would agree with that, not everybody is going to be on at anyone given time, so making notes of what has been said is only logical

Forum discussion is Perfect friend but posting rules Prior to discussion is not. :)

I'd be really keen as well to join in the fun at some point. I only got the game within the last 3 days & I'm still very much lacking in ingame skills & awareness maybe. If I thought however I could dish out medipacks or ammo & generally have a good time I'd love to play along. Don't have a mic though for teamspeak unfortunately.

His post is a discussion.

It's a better way of doing it than having a few members discuss it on TS and then having to tell everyone else what was said and find out if they agree.

It's written down for all to see, And all can comment/contribute.

I s'pose it would help if i knew who he was for starters.
I can't really take anyone seriously if they are not prepared to get involved on teamspeak MSN or Xfire and then comes up with another option.
It's hard enouth to keep track of whats going on as it is.

I see that but i still don't know him. No MSN contact No Xfire contact and No teamspeak contact and No Voip contact.

Also why are we discussing it Here when i am on MSN and Xfire NOW.
I don't think those in control will appreciate us spamming these forums and i really don't understand why having me on MSN you don't set up a chatroom with us all and chat there.
This is what me and others have been doing for Days.
On your forum you are already discussing rules between just a few people.
Why not get on MSN and xfire and include All.

^ Why don't you join the forum?

After everyone has logged off, The disussion is still there for EVERYONE to see?

You can't expect 50+ people to all be on MSN, Xfire, TS or anything else, All at the same time! people have jobs and other commitments!

I don't expect people to do anything.
But if they are interested i thought they would have taken the MSN and Xfire details from the O.P. and made contact with me or Yewen or any of the other Pro active people. It takes 5 mins to add a few from the O.P. and the person can pick whatever time they like to make contact.
Xfire sits in your taskbar and gives everyone else the I.P. details.
Surely sorting that out is the first thing to do.

TBH i thought we were having our forum at our KbW site.

malc30, i think if you re-read whats been posted, ive only been pro-active in helping with [OcUK]bf2 and not stated any definitive laws etc . ive taken the time to read through the forums and have seen that there were problems back last year when you had a bf2 server but it stopped due to , well, problems within its running.
im not in anyway reluctant to use msn , xfire or teamspeak and all my details are on this thread somewhere (if we dont use voice comms ingame weve already lost) . further to this the forums yhack provided are slowly building up with members joining and submitting all their details where its easier to find and not spreadout over 9+ pages.

since GOOSE started this thread, ive played alongside quite a few of you in 50k's servers and attended the game last night, and for the main its been fun. if your the main admin sorry if youve felt im stepping on ya toes it wasnt intended .;p

cheers
