will my quad with 5770 be enough for decent fps?
All depends on your resolution. I'm at 2560x1440 so think I'll have to wait it out for 7xxx for BF3

well at 1080p my Tri-fire 4870's should be ok, but i'll miss out on the DX11 eye candyWill have to wait and see what the 7 Series brings to the table then I may consider an upgrade.
I'm a pc gamer at heart, always have been, never got on with consoles. I game at 1920x1080 with all settings on high in just about every game i have.
BFBC2 is my game. However.....when i watch my lad play COD on his 360 on a 720p tv, it looks really nice. I sometimes think it looks better and smoother than on a pc. Is it just me then?

Yep, pretty much
Have you played COD on your PC at a real resolution for comparison?
6950 is recommended, which means it run high/ultra on 1920x1080 or so.
Playing bc2 on eyefinity and I use low setting with crossfire I average around 100fps.
I expect Bf3 be similar on same settings.
People are so overhyped..![]()
Hopefully will be able to run it at med/high settings at 1920x1200 OK, what do you guys think..
i7 920 @ 3.6Ghz
6GB DDR 1600
4870x2
fingers crossed
hmm, i don't have a dx11 card, iv got a 4870X2 , even these days its still a nuke, it powers though every game i got on maximum fine, recon bf3 will kill it? lol
2560x1440 and a GTX 480. I've got my fingers crossed. If it runs like **** at high I know I'm gonna force myself to buy a 580 or something damnit.
Well I plan on a second 480 if needed, wouldn't that be better than a 580.
1Gb cards i hope![]()
Your system should easily handle it at high settings, although obviously without DX11 eye candy.![]()
Not too bothered about DX11 at the moment, not a lot of difference in games I've seen thus far, unless you really stare and look. Perhaps Bf3 will be different, who knows...
