Hmmm... I am a 59 in head size. I have a Giro Indicator and I find it a bit uncomfy as its right at its max adjustment. Lesson learnt - don't buy a helmet online without checking it in a shop first.

This is a pretty cool looking new tire from Schwalbe:

Schwalbe Hans Dampf

They look like a pretty good tire for those running tubeless who don't fancy going UST, a lot of US guys have them at the moment and they do seem to be living up to the hype; extremely versatile, tough tire whilst still being fairly lightweight.

I'm looking to try something different soon (Nevegal front, Excavator rear) now I'm running tubeless, my current combination has been great but I'm beginning to notice the slow rolling(ness) of the Nevegal, the Excavator is fantastic as it basically never slips on wet rocks and roots (if you sit and spin) but it's sidewalls are like tracing paper.

Interesting. It's a similar weight to a UST Nobby Nic too. :)

Edit: My TL RRs need sealant so I don't see these being any different. So add 40g for sealant. :p

I bet the same rider could ride it quicker on an xc bike. I recall a certain mellon head saying he felt quicker on his "XC" bike on his local trail than on his DH bike.

;) :p
