Re : My question on which new stem to buy earlier this week.
I wanted something different over the usual Thomson x4 or Easton Haven options.

So, I've ordered a Renthal Duo Stem
Renthal is a brand which has a very strong reputation in motocross and is quickly gaining ground in the MTB world. Best of all Renthal is a UK manufacturer :)

Thats the stem ill be getting when i get some spare cash to go with my renthal bars, just using a cheap superstar one at present as a stop gap.

*snip*

Just make sure you grease up all the screws & bolts as they creak like a rusty door hinge due to the two piece design.

I'd love one of these for my tracer.

Think I've decided on this: http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=63540
Mainly because it's THE (good rep) and it has a removable liner which the 661 Evo doesn't have. Any other pro's/con's for this helmet? Or anything else I could look at. Don't wanna spend any more than £100, need to fund my Portugal trip!

I'd personally go for Urge Down o'Matic

I saw one go for £83 during a recent CRC private sale!
Wanted to buy it, but I have no use for it given my D3 … still was tempted to buy it as a spare though!

Quick question....how often do you all ride? At the moment I'm probably only going out twice a week when I know I should be doing a lot more. Sometime just the thought of having to prepare for a ride and put the bike rack up etc. means I never actually get round to bothering.

I try to ride twice a week ( 3 on a good week), but these days it seems like I only get one ride in. Got nothing to do with not wanting/bothering though ... some of us in here have jobs! :p

5 times a week minimum.

I don't ride for fitness, so don't push myself to go out, I just enjoy it when I'm out, getting fitter is just a bonus. I like to ride at least once a week but at the moment I haven't been on my bike for nearly a fortnight. A combination of bad weather laziness and my ****ing back. Right now I'm just hoping I'm fit for the Cannock meet on the 9th. :(

I go out at least once on the weekend, 1st thing as soon as the sun is up.
I ride to work everyday but its only 1 mile round trip. I try to go out after work as well but most of the time other things come up.

I try to ride 3-4 times a week.

Few shorter rides of 5-10 miles after work, then 20 or so on a weekend.

Damn, £5 off at Wiggle, but they don't have the right colour Vaults! (talking myself into buying them)
