Finished my week long road trip riding in Wyoming, Colorado and Utah, mucho fun again

Glad I didn't go to Llandegla today and just went locally instead, hardly ridden this month and I could tell I had lost fitness. The first few miles were a killer until my legs had warmed up a bit.

5 minutes slower over my 9.5 mile lap, so 30 seconds a mile on average!

Should be able to get back on track, but short evenings now, with working till late i've struggled to ride in the week.

take some pics then!

I will do tomorrow. :)

Does anyone know where I would would find what the sag should be for my front fork and rear shock? I can't change them until my shock pump arrives on Tuesday, but I can at least get to know what they need to be set at.

Between 20 & 30% of the travel, 20 for a firm XC ride or 30 for a plush AM ride.

Did sherwood pines red route today without a single stop break, took me and a friend 55 minutes! Pretty impressed considering it normally takes around 1hr 30 mins with our usual breaks. It did takes it toll on me though, havent quite got my rhythm perfected, seem to go like mad for 5 minutes then ease off for 10 minutes to catch me breath then back on the gas etc. Had an ignorant rider infront for a little while though, he knew we were behind him but didnt move over and just kept riding even though it was impossible to overtake because the trail is far too narrow, me and me mate always move over for faster riders.

which enduro is it? I'm looking at the Specialized Enduro Evo FSR 2012, been looking at many nice ones and undecided, until I viewed this. Very tempted to slap a deposit on it. Quite like the yellow/black bumble bee theme.

I'm possibly going to get another set of forks as my Pikes aren't well. Money is an issue at the moment so not looking to spend a massive amount but I'm hovering over the buy button on these RockShox Sektors.

Good choice or not? Seem to get favorable reviews for the money, especially as I'll only pay £327 if I pay this weekend.

Alternatively, I'm looking at another set on ebay here

Prefer black but its not a deal breaker.

I only have the 2011 comp.

edit: Thanks Ichabod. What about rebound? Am I right in thinking I have the slower rebound on the rear shock and faster rebound on the front? All this is confusing to a noobie biker! :(

I think sektors are a low end model, get the Pike fixed?

It is being fixed I hope but its a heavier fork and I want to try and shed a little bit of weight, next job is a lighter wheelset. I can maybe sell the Pikes and put that towards the new wheels..

I don't think the Sektors are strictly low-end are they, just a cheaper option all mountain fork than the Revs. Like I said, people think they are great for the money. But, if anyone here thinks otherwise I may reconsider. :D
