I know why bikes have front suspension now. Some of the downhill stuff was properly punishing

Interesting you should mention the strathpuffer. I'v recently been thinking about entering.
Were you at the last one? or did you just read about the guy on the singlespeed?
Has anybody been before? (entrant/support/spectator)

A few pals and I are probably doing the Strathpuffer Lite next year. Maybe do 10 Under the Ben in pairs too.

It was showcased on The Adventure Show on BBC2 Scotland last time which was good to watch. No idea if it will show it again.

IIRC the guy was a single man team and came around 9th overall which is phenomenal

Tip: Don't clamp your bike frame like that. It can crush the frame. Always use the seat post.
