front disc is sorted, but now when I try and wheelie I here/feel a click somewhere in the front, like something isn't tight enough. I've checked and tightened everything in the stem/bars/front wheel but it still does it.

Any ideas?

Did you undo the stem bolts before preloading the headset, then tighten the stem bolts to secure it?

Is it the forks topping out since it's been sagging whilst you're on it?

Messing around with slowmo stuff, just for sh!ts n giggles

I get how to do it, however I'm sure my workflow is completely convoluted - so if anyone here is acquainted with Final Cut studio, please let me know as I have a couple of questions. (PS, yes I realise the dip/increase in speed is inconsistent i'm just messing around still)

didn't touch the headset as it was all assembled in the box, I just made sure everything was tight.

It could be forks topping out, good call - maybe I'm not used to them yet

I'd double check the headset anyway as it's been turned whilst in the box. Undo the two stem pinch bolts, loosen the top cap screw until you can rock the front wheel back and forth. Nip up the top cap bolt whilst rocking the front end until it stops rocking, only hand tight not super tight, then allign your stem and clamp the pinch bolts again.

Corsa yep its tiny. Last time I tried to fit a bike in there I actually broke the bike when I closed the boot

Double post sorry

Same size car as mine. I fold my back seats down, take both wheels off and lay the bike in the boot/back seat area.

When I first got the bike (brand new and clean) I actually managed to stand the frame across the rear footwells i.e. between the back of the front seats at the front of the rear seats albeit mine is a 5 door car.

My mate has a Saxo and we can fit my bike + his 29er in with ease. Surely a corsa isn't that much smaller?

Ok you guys have convinced me to give it a go! I'll ring the Reading store today that stocks them. Bit gutted i can't just buy online and have them post it, would have been so much easier.

Did the full 50k loop through Torridon last sunday.

It was without doubt the most difficult ride I have ever been on. Weather was wet and windy. We were carrying the bikes up rocky climbs on our backs on the way up, bits of the descent's were like rivers.....but it was still awesome :)
Stunning scenery, great company. Felt great to finish!

There is also quite allot of Gopro HD footage to sort through

Cane Creek don't intend their new DBair rear shock to be a weight saving strategy on bikes designed around coil-sprung shocks, though it is about 200g lighter than a comparable Double Barrel.

I don't understand this bit. Are they saying it's 200g lighter than a CCDB + spring ?

I think they mean that it isnt going to save much weight swapping from a normal coil shock (ie. not a CCDB coil) to this. But they point out that it is lighter than a CCDB coil.

Yes. it's a bit of a confusing statement. It's sort of saying this isn't as good as a CCDB coil so don't buy it purely to save weight.

Well today i had me first proper outing to Linkare on the push bike.

Did originally take both wheels off going to the place but couldn't be arsed we hassle when taking it home, so left them both on lol:

All in all, it went quite well for first time in 8 years or so. Still struggling with the hills, but will soon sort it. Managed to ride through a massive pile of ****, what someone must have forgotten to pick up.... O and didn't fall off, but suppose i was going real soft we it all.

Should all soon come back though i hope.[/QUOTE]

Nice looking bike, looks like a nice place to ride too, not heard of it before

Glad to see the rack working okay :)

Haha, unsure I'll go for it in the end tbh.
All I really really want, are more rebound clicks for my bloody RP23. 6 clicks total is a bit silly, as I 2 clicks in too slow and 3 clicks in too fast :(
I can cope just find with having less traction on the Tracer than on my DH bike, I just need moar clickzzz!!!

On a side note, I'm now signed up as a BOS dealership ... so I guess i really really need to pull my finger and complete the bleeding website :p
