My legs are feeling the burn today!

Suprised I am feeling fitter despite riding less recently, not sure why that is!

Edit:

I noticed a large section of new northshore/boards at Llandegla yday that looked finished, but had an orange barrier to prevent you from riding it. This is after the JJ's jumps and before the tabletop and then steep black drop. Looked to run quite a way off into the trees.

Also further down where the disconnected old northshore is there looked to be a new path off to the left which I don't know if it was closed or not, but I stuck to the main path.

Will be interesting to see what happens there as after the JJ's jumps there isn't really much in the way of features, just a pretty boring wide path back to the centre, which is a ballache on a hard tail as its all rocks now and really shakes you to death at speed. Got cramp in my hands from my vulcan deathgrip on the bars!

Has anyone ever ridden Hanchurch Woods near Stoke? curious as to whether its worth a trip down as it's not too far?
Yup - I did a Midlands XC Race there and it was pretty good. I'm not sure what it's like when the course isn't marked up though.

I'm incredibly miffed with CRC right now... placed an order for custom built wheels on Friday morning... get in from work tonight, big box waiting in the hallway... open it up... find two rims... two hubs... which should be held together by a set of spokes for each wheel...

Not in this case! No spokes in sight, and certainly no built wheels!

AHAHAHAH I had to laugh.

I feel for you. CRC is pretty lame at the moment. - I hope you give them a right rollicking.

Boo, punctured somewhere! Came to my bike to find the back tyre looking all sad and flat.

Couldn't see anything sticking in it so will have to pop the tyre off and check it out when I can be bothered!

£1200 is really taking the **** then :) I'll guess it probably owes him £850 ish then working on normal retail margins.

Aye probably around that - maybe £900.

Some of the more niché brands have **** poor margins. Some the trade is just half of the retail. Others like a certain british company seem to not want to sell to bike shops with the prices they charge.
