Haha, it's the most confusing deal ever.
You get a £50 voucher for £10 to use against a GoPro (£299).

Dont know why they cant just say you get £40 off the rrp

Decided to look into getting some new forks, had ago of a mates bike with 2010 fox 36 floats, felt a much lighter front end compared to my marzocchi which are getting on for 2.95kg.

So i want air are the Devilles worth going for over fox 36 floats? I dont know anyone with Devilles to have ago.

Ive got Devilles.
Not tried Floats so cant comment on how they compare.

My Devilles feels like a coil shock with a massively noticeable performance increase over my Lyrics.

If you want Devilles, I can supply you some, though unfortunately I ( as with all BOS dealers) we can't offer a discount as the distributopr watches prices like a hawk and could void your warranty if it's discounted :(

Cheers, looks like the Devilles work out cheaper as well.
Have to give it some thought.

Right a dent in the rear rim (about an inch big) = knackered rim or "bendable" back? Don't want to take the tyre off at the minute as I might not be able to get it back on! :p

My next puncture could be fatal!

New rim time!
Even if you manage to bend it back perfectly straight, the metal will be much weaker.
Not worth the risk of it failing for the cost of a new rim.

A pal twisted his Easton Haven rim back into place. I was the first person to tell him to replace it and considering the rock fest that is our local trail. I thought the rim was dead but it is holding out well.

Depends on the rim. An inch would be a big deal for most XC rims, but barely worth mentioning on a big dh rim. Is it just on the outer rim or has it gone into the curve/spoke bed at all?

All my rims have had dents bent back out of them, I think. I know my old 729 is weakened because of it, you can see the stressmarks, but it's such a strong rim I don't mind- the main structure of the wheel is fine after all.

I've never worried about the dents I had in the 729 at the back that I had. Never caused me any issues.

The boys sponsor/help out ride the bikes hard and the MTX rims have dents all over them. Both of them have managed to destroy Kona operator frames...

meh, rim dents are common. I think my bike has a few at the moment.
Needs a pic tbh, if it's 1 inch wide but quite shallow it's not an issue (unless you're running crazy light rims?).
