That looks like a big ride on any bike, impressive stuff.

Length: 17 miles. Typically ridden one way, from the Wedgemount trailhead to Whistler. Average one-way ride time is 3.5 to 5 hours.

I rode 8 miles on the road to get to the trailhead

You've clearly missed any rides I've previously posted about, my last big one was an attempt at a 2745mile MTB time trial race

The intension was to ride some DH tracks on it but due to other things popping up I didnt get chance. Not a problem them as I don't like the look of the demo 2 anyway.

Is there any specific ones you need for each individual bike or do they generally fit the majority? Or is it just an outer tubing? Seen different things, do apologise for the lack of knowledge on this, It's been a while since I've been with bikes and just got back into it with my stumpjumper.

You just get the outer tubing, not the cables inside. It's usually sold by the meter and you cut it yourself. Best to get some new ferrules (the caps for the ends) at the same time as you might not be able to reuse the old ones.

One thing i have started doing is once you have the outers cut to length, its best to epoxy the ends on, this stops the outers coming apart, which they do the jagwire is made in the same place as the SRAM flak jackets.

Never had a problem or needed to glue the ends of my Jagwire outers! :confused:

Jagwire is crap, the plastic outers crack. Mine have in numerous places.

I have a cheapo dealextreme T6 for the bars, this was for the helmet but after seeing them for real now may just bin the T6 and get another AY-UP
