Super :)

These Tioga Factory XC are crap. Need a change to something better.

Just about to buy a couple of Maxxis Larsen TT's. Should be a good improvement.

I'll be ordering a pair today too, think i'll go for the dual ply version for a bit more durability.

Well me and my mates are about 2 months into our reintroduction to the mountain biking world.

After 2 months of riding round Cannock chase we decided to go do the black run at coed llandegla.
Just got back from there and we’ve had a great laugh. Might try Coed-y-Brenin in a few weeks.

Here a couple of pics of us over there.

Spot my 10 year old orange c16-r. she did me proud today:D

Anyone on here entered the Grizedale Mountain Bike Challenge?

www.gmbc.co.uk

Signed myself up yesterday, should be a good laugh considering i've never really done anything like this before!

It's a 30 mile race through the trails of grizedale forest, which is on a large hill / small mountain. Haven't done it or any other race before, but i'm defo not expecting it to be easy. Looking at the entry forms some of the guys are sponsored by hope etc. as long as i come somewhere middleish i think i'll be happy.

It'll involve going round The North Face trail and the forest fire tracks. Grizedale's my favourite trail at the moment, but you will want a soft-tail afterwards. :p

Bunka has a Kona Scab, which is not full sus. He'll wish is was afterwards though!

Pfff, full sus is for girls anyway. :p

Nah i've ridden grizedale a bit before and i've been fine, the Scab is actually fully rigid, but that'll definitely be changing before then, either with some lightweight Rockshox SID's or Revelations. Already got a carbon seatpost and saddle, and a pair of reasonably lightweight Maxxis Larsen TT's, so they only thing left that can shift a decent amount of weight would be a pair of new wheels.

Would be looking at around £5-600 for fork and wheels though. :(

courierhelp please for a bike, cheapest and quickest ?

I'm getting some mavic 721's on da bomb headspin hubs soon :D

Could try parcel to go,they come collect and deliver.

Spoke to my dad and he says he'll give me £120 to finish my bike as i have no spare cash to buy the parts as i spent £110 on driving lessons today.

Calling it an early birthday present. :(
