rhys, remember they can take time to bed in. Sticky seals can take a while to relax a bit.
Try some fork juice, worked wonders for me

Having a bit of trouble with spoke tension on my rear wheel. It's normally not an issue, but I can't seem to tighten the spokes this time!
The spokes themselves turn with the nipples (ooo-er) so they may be stuck!?
WD-40 or something needed on the nipples?

They feel stiff and unresponsive. IE, horrible :D I know they should be much smoother/nicer than what they currently are. They'll be having a few hours around Cwmcarn on Thursday, I'll try some fork juice on them too.

Anyone have any opinions on floating rotors vs normal rotors?

I'm not sure if floating rotors make much of a difference, but I can say that Superstars floating rotors survived 5 runs of Ft Williams DH course on my bike without any issues :)
That's about as good a test as I've put them through

Currently on holiday in the Yorkshire Dales. Originating from the land of flat, it makes such a refreshing change to have epic riding on your doorstop ... need to move.

My Tues arrived last week, it was built as soon as i got it but i was quite busy last week and didnt get to ride it properly until today, after a bit of fettling with shock settings etc I seem to have got it dialed in, had an absolute blast today, just want to go jump back on it.

the Stoy works a treat but bloody hell it wheezes like an asthmatic pug, however i've read this is apparently quite normal.
Boxxers are a bit stiffer in initial movement but i'm sure they will loosen off as the break in, if not, its a trip off to TFT.

Looking at those images i think i need to trim down those hoses:eek:

£22 for a stans boobless kit for my hope hoops (flow Ex)

I assume i just need valves tape and gunk.

any recommendations on cheaper kit? melted my rear tyre it seems at my last BPW outing and already had a new front so might as well go boobless while swapping them

Hey guys, can i get some full sus bike recommendations for around £2500-3000? Im probably going to get one on the 0% finance deals some sites do, although i was looking at the canyon nerve AL which looks awesome. I have a Cube acid 29er hardtail at the moment but after getting into MTB seriously since buying it and loving it im after a bit more!

cheers

Just all mountain riding, i go to trail centres often and just ride anywhere and anything mountain tbh! Love going up hills and love going down hills more!! :D

I mean if i can get something great cheaper then of course i would, but dont you have to spend a decent wack to get a really good full sus thats worth it?
