I'm feeling quite indecisive, Fort William or Glentress tomorrow??? decisions decisions... never been to Glentress, ridden fort bill a few times, both the bikes will be going, any other suggestions to throw into the mix?

I suspect that must be an error on the site - if you're inclined to buy one, I'd certainly give it a go at that price + it's a fracking sick bike.

Frames like these aren't "grey" products as weescott claims, because they aren't OEM kit stripped off a full build (ala: Merlin cycles selling shimano drivetrain), nor do these bikes come as full builds with OEM partners.

I don't have access to Ison distribution (the Banshee distros), but knowing trade prices, I can't fathom that the price of this link is accurate, as I can't see them making any money off the sale.

I hope I'm wrong, and would urge you to click BUY! :D

He doesn't like speed or adventure, see his riding pics for evidence :D

So read it wrong, such feels.

I'm still unsure when I add it all up I could just buy a Capra and be done with it. But of course, there is just something that makes me want the Spitfire.

Here's a lovely crotch shot of me in my new "Troy Lee Moto" shorts:

I bought them off that dodgey supercow's ebay site around 2 years ago and they finally arrived today. They sent me a tracking number which didnt work so I complained then then sent another tracking number and refunded me and I still got the shorts, so free shorts w00000t.

I got the white ones without the writing, couldnt pass them up, brilliant quality for whats most probably knockoffs albeit very good quality, so good infact i'm waiting for a green set to be delivered.:)

weescott - Laggan is a good shout, in fact i might double tap fort bill and laggan.

Go for it :)

It's not *quite* DH bike territory, but plenty of DH riders push their bikes up the walkers path.
Perfect for a long travel trail bike if you want to really push it

Forgot to mention, the Vivid Air is fantastic! Took my time getting it set up after I fitted it, and I'm loving it!

Seen as there seems to be more downhill riders cropping up in here is anyone up for a downhill meet up of some kind? Don't even have to be downhillers, just somone who likes a bit of lift assisted riding :)

This is why I've suggested BPW, uplift day without anyone feeling like they are underbiked.

I believe you can book a private uplift if you have enough people going.

Well up for this! BPW is only 3 1/2 ish hours away from me. I was going to book this month, but it seems there fully booked :(

Just had a gander on their site - I'll call them to confirm, as it seems a private lift is only available to people who go on company outings or Stag / Hen dos (costing an awful lot more)

Spaces will be an issue if we want to do a group ride.

Recently moved to Stafford so decided to finally retire my 8yr old Trek 4500 & get a Trek Fuel ex8 to play with. Unfortunately, couldn't afford 2 full sus bikes (Wife wanted one too). So, got her a Specialized Myka & myself a Cube Acid. Plan on killing as much of our free time as possible exploring Cannock Chase
