Awwww date night you two?


On another note, hmmmmmm tough choices (in a very good way). I'm in love with the demo w/ Ohlins TTX, and feeling the fastest I've ever been.
I have however been presented with an opportunity to grab a complete steal on a very new fangled 27.5650b DH bike, that by reports surpasses my demo in every way.

Not entirely sure what to do, but I suspect my inner magpie will win.

Going to Swinley on Saturday to test a large frame Bird Zero hardtail, and maybe a couple of runs down Summer Lightning at Leith Hill on Sunday.

I tested a medium Bird Zero around Swinley last weekend and it felt a bit small (I'm 5ft 10"). It must be a good bike though if I'm testing it again I foresee a purchase in the near future...

Going to give it a proper test first, Will be testing out a size too big for me, but reckon it will give me a good idea of what to expect.

Why on earth would you want one, you live in the UK, and here you don't have any terrain, at all. You just float between time and space.

Alternatively, why not just use your saddle as an anal probe which pitches you forward over said non-existent terra firma?

I tried, but lube bills were through the roof. Dry is a bit too harsh I'm just not man enough.

I'm really unsure at the moment, the top model is nearly £300 more and really only adds Pikes. Reading reviews the Sweep is meant to be an awesome fork anyway.

Also you can have my Reverb for free, ive since learnt ive never needed it as the hardest of trails can be ridden with it higher than the sky. Im actually going to weld my seat post into my frame now.

Also im gonna get a longer seat post for the jump bike if anyone has one.. Something about 500mm long?

I tried the Bird Zero.3 because that's all that Swinley Bike Hub had available In its defence, I couldn't fault it at all but I still want the Zero.AM because it's "the best" and relatively affordable. I plan to keep the bike for a long time, so a little bit of financial pain now may pay off in the long term.

I hadn't really looked at the Zero.AMX. I'll check it out before committing

Rear tilt bias, helps get weight over the back for descends and opens up the body for climbs.
It's also not 'up in sky' and works for me perfectly. Not even a quick release on the post either
