I had those storm gloves, and have the endura winter/waterproof gloves. I found them far too thick and too warm for my liking.

Recently bought some Fox sidewinder Polar gloves and love them. Just a smidge thicker than normal, warmer and water resistant.

yeah but its my lower back into my hip that suffers, while my camelbak does a great job of sweating up my upper/mid back it doesnt cover the problem area :D
 
Camelbaks are terrible in winter :(
When a bottle freezes on your bike, you can usually bash it about a bit and break the ice to get some water out. When a camelbak tube freezes, you're stuck without anything to drink.
(never tried the thermal jackets you can get for the tubes though, maybe they help?)
 
mines got a neoprene sleeve, no idea if that helps ive not used it in winter yet. the marketing blurb reckons it works for snowboarders?
