Picked up my Trek 1.7 a couple of weeks ago, and have to say its a fantastic piece of kit. Absolutely loving it!!

Even been out on it for a couple of hours today, though can't say it was my most enjoyable ride in the wind and rain. Also, had my first 'couldn't get cleat out of pedal' moment today, lucky there weren't too many cars around. Felt like a right idiot!!

Guys,

What do you think would be the best forums to sell my Specialized Pitch on?

Sadly parting with it due to financial troubles... :(

Just got back from a nice 25 mile ride on the South Downs. Took a nice tumble over the bars into a bramble bush! My brother didn't stop laughing at me all the way home! Got some weird looks while riding through town, was covered in mud and had blood pouring all over my shins from all the brambles. Must have looked like a right nutter!

As a side question....What do you guys use for plotting your routes?

I quite like Google Earth for planning but it's not very good at plotting and keeping track of things. I use the ruler tool to trace my route and work out the distance, which is ok but I can't save it. Anyone know of any plug-ins that might do this?

Or maybe something completely different that I can save rides I've done?

Cheers

Decided to scrap the idea of a new frame for my Kona, and am playing with the idea of just buying a seperate DH bike. Unfortunately money is limited and I'm looking for ideas, hopefully going to be buying just after Christmas, with a budget of around £500-£600.

I've noticed that I can get a used Specialized Big Hit for this money, but is there anything else that people would recommend?
Ta :)
