To be honest I personally think Fox forks are now overpriced compared to the competition. Pace and Rock Shox are now making excellent forks much cheaper than similarly performing Fox ones.

the 40's pawn 888's  :p

i also tried the matinau darado (sp?) too as theyre very similar to my shivers being upside down but again... the cost is stupid.
Don't lie :p

If you want an expensive fork that performs well, try a Foes Curnutt F1 XTD. If you want a decent priced fork, a Boxxer or 888 will do you fine.

So today i speny most of my time at my mates

Building this up.

She's only 4 months old and is called Yoda

Already well used to regular handling and will calmly sit on my hand / shoulder while I read or watch T.V.

Here's a tip, get some cable ties and put one in the middle and one near to each end on the chainstay protector to keep it on :).

We need a MTB sticky tbh.

And um why are you using a Altegra road mech on a mtb?

Erm nope!!!

Singlespeed, road mech have a tigther stiffer spring in them as to std MTB ones, they are also shorter in cage length too. They are also cheaper sometimes and are fun to mod too!

The MTB is a trials bike and it's singlespeed

Bike is made to run gears, comps need 6 working gears to be legal and thus is all up in the air and dont get me started on it as the wrolds for next year looming of not going ahead!!!

The DMR stuff is as good as an old mans todger, they snap

Other stuff is costly and mech works fine and i bough a ulterga for £9 new!!! Some shop has it priced wrong.

Who said anything about dmr? :p

as for the ultegra, I was thinking of Dura-Ace, which is like plenty more expensive, well £60 ish.

Durace Ti carbon, £190

Also there is an all in carbonfiber one too which i've used once to get home.

I smash mechs loads so my new sponser has a cunning plan, well we both have and it works

How the heck you planning to put six gears on that anyways? :p. tbh if you weren't bound by rules Id say get a decent chain tensioner, but as you are, you might as well kill two birds with one stone.

The T's look weedy tbh. Get some boxxers or 888s :p. or atleast some 66s ;).

Tell him that,he HATES single crown forks.......didnt like the 66's we had a shot of and he has a hatred for my mates 888 rc2x's cause he bottomed them on 6ft odd drop........i tell him he needs them set up properly but still

I personally want 2006 66's 150mm ones :D

The T's are thin though,30mm stantions......my forks have 32mm's but i love the BEEFAYNESS of the 35mm's off the 66/888 series.

The only forks my mate wants are monsters,he has some sort of ****** fetish for them. Honestly,i think he would sleep with them if he could.

hahaha. love the little gekko type creature :D and yoda!!! thats such a perfect name.. kinda like calling a goldfish 'jaws'
