^^ Looks nice, how much?

My build nearly done...

Today we did red and black Laggan Wolftrax. The black is just super intense with steep rocky section after rocky section.

Nice. We are going up there with friends for an overnight stay in Blair Atholl next month and doing Laggan the next day. I had heard that the Laggan Black was quite tricky compared to some other trails in Scotland. That about right?. How was the red route?. Any tricky parts?.

If you have done Kirroughtree black, Laggan black is a condensed version but none stop and bit narlier. There is nothing on the Laggan red that is very hard. Ayers rock is pretty scary looking down from the top though.

Just got back from the Brecon Beast! 109km (68 miles) completed in 6.30 hours.
Had to pace myself as was worried about cramp. (I normally suffer badly)

However, had a water bottle with rock salt and a few high5 tablets and absolutely no cramp. I’m well chuffed!

Route was great and took us around the 'gap' past the talybont reservoir and other great climbs and descents. All on the Stiffee! :D who ever said that their not comfortable - ride properly ;)

Off to bed as I can’t stand or talk / type.

Purhaps for me, I may sweat too much of it, I dont know. a lot of science has been done and its inconclusive. Still a great day and the longest Ive ever been in the saddle. Purhaps an alternative to the Charge spoon should be considered. Sore perineum... :(

Daft Q maybe, but are you wearing padded undershorts? I find a decent pair essential for comfort.

Bib shorts, I know exactly why its sore. Its because my bike has 150mm travel, its not exactly built for climbing. So I have to shuffle to the front of the saddle....

So purhaps less travel rather than the saddle then. :)

What is it they say, when the cat is away the mice will play?

So I'm working in the living room. I've fitted my new Shimano 105 SLR brake levers and re-wrapped the handlebars in red. I'm not 100% sure I like them and I think I might go back to black, what do you think?

And my god, are Forello/Silva stingy with their handlebar wrap length or what? I had to unwrap them twice to get them to reach :D

On mine? I injured my wrists and can't hold the bars unless they're cranked up like that. Might be some time before they heal up and the pain goes away apparently. It's annoying, but at least I can still ride.

Fair play mate. If it keeps you on a bike then it's all good.

I had a guy in with a bike with drop bars flipped over. That was some weird ****!

Me casing the crap out of the table and stepdown at Forest Of Dean, taken after the uplift stopped.
(I blame being tired at the end of the day :P )

And a Gentle meander down "Flatland into Ski run" @ FOD
