put it on the 2 biggest cogs and see is if it sitll looks long

maybe it could do with a link or 2 taking out but it wont make that much difference tbh
 
My new Marin Bolinas Ridge '05, after my first off-road blast around a local dirt-bike track. Bit insane for a beginner, but the bike coped better than me :D

Just had a call and it will be at least 60 days until I get the frame. Boooo :(

I'll just have to look at the new pile of parts I've got ready and waiting.

Not as bad as me tbh.......i have all the parts just cant afford a frame,even on the second hand market. :(

New Heckler? They just started to ship in the US so 60 days sounds about right for the UK. I waited something silly like 3 months for mine.:eek:

Or maybe a Yeti 303?

The shock isnt parralel to the seat stay so under compression the shock has to get shorter.....so it can provide dampning. The bit sticking up is the bit that reacts to how severe the terrain is.

Essentially that, the remote "brain" is an inertia valve, that turns the shock on and off. The newer ones are made by specialized (the one in that pic is the old fox version with the brain on the shok, the new ones have the brain nearer the axle).

I had a look on the specialized site for the bit that explained how it worked but couldnt find it. You're right though.

And it was juts a google pic :o
