X.0 twist shifters are great on my XC race bike, SRAM really need to release some for the XX groupo. I've got normal triggers on my big bike though.

Does anyone suffer or suffered from numb feet when cycling? I do
I used to get it mildly when I just used to wear trainers after a long ride. Then I bought some Specialized shoes that supposedly help eliminate it, but they actually made it worse and when wearing them get it within 10 minutes of riding.
Any advice on buying something that will sort it such as pedals and/or specific shoes? I've tried altering foot position on the pedals and it doesn't help.
Whilst I'm at it, can anyone recommend a comfortable seat? The one on my Focus is an arse breaker quite frankly![]()

As it's happening after only 10 minutes it's unlikely it's the temperature I imagine? Are you clipped in? Trying flats if you are may help or just a different type of pedal.
Something like a basic flat pedal would be a decent place to start, Wellgo MG-1s are popular and cheap so maybe give those a try?
Also, flex your feet inside your shoes every so often as you are riding, really helps.
Road or MTB?. I had a Fizik Arione on my Pinarello FP1 a few months back but despite the "rave reviews" they get, it was like sitting on a razor blade.
Swapped it for a Specialized Alias 143 and it is the most comfortable saddle I have used to date. Get measured for it though, they come in different widths.

If you feel your feet are going numb and your seat is digging into you awkwardly maybe you're restricting blood flow to your feet? (I dont know anything about arteries in the leg so could be wrong)
I wouldnt think that pressuring a nerve would lead to a numb foot in less than 10 mins, especially considering that on flat pedals you only push through your foot 50% of the time.
Is it your whole foot going numb?
Have you tried using toe clips or something to keep your foot in a good position over the pedal?

Yep, I was a bit dubious at first, but after trying them out I'm convinced. Shifting is faster and smoother (even with my old x.7 rear mech) and I can grab a load for a sudden steep climb of fast downhill.Twist shifters? This on the Vagrant?

Could be your foot position then. The ball of your foot should be directly above the axle of the pedal, like this:My whole foot doesn't go numb, just the ball and toes.

Superb!! Like a horse without its jockey!!
