Very sad. But what we need is to lift our spirits.... Another pic of my steed. with new front rim, Mavic 719 and Maxxis Minion DH rear and High Roller DH front. this is in preperation for my Alpine adventure in 4 weeks.

2.35's Super tacky.

Took it to Cwmcarn Yesterday. Performed perfectly. Tyres are perfect for downhill and up  not too heavy, even with DH inner tubes. 100% grip. Small block 8's will still be used for XC though.

Pointless photos - was playing with wifes camera.

A few more things I need to do before I go. Get braided brakes. whats the correct kit? there Hope Mini Mono's. Also can I do it my self, any different from normal brakes?
And also, How do I increase travel to 150mm in the revelations?

So, so chuffed for Gee, he deserved that, he rode so well at maribor, but that bottom section at FW was insane, put so much power in :D :D :D

I was thinking that rear shock looks a bit more safer for my weight if you know what I mean, as I'm shrinking down and leaving the gym/heavy lifting alone now and really want to pursue xc or try something else hence the reign 1. I really don't want to creep over 2k if possible.

Your 'heavy' weight has no influance on the bike you ride. You CAN ride a skinny XC whippet bike if you wanted. It aint going to break.

What happens to me when I put 2l of water on my back... Do I think, omg my wheel is going to fold. No, get what ever bike you want for the sort of riding your going to be doing.
that Riegn isnt a XC bike, its AM.

A Stump Jumper FSR is easily enough for any of the UK Trail centres.

The Reign looks good but unless you confident hitting the down stuff fast and big then you'll be over biked and struggling up hills.

Holy moly, just got back from Dalby, what a miserable day, rained all day :(, Anyway that was my first ever trail riding and oh my god its either me or the bike but its hard work..We did all red and black, but i pulled out about 8-9mile from the end and headed to the cafe for a nice coffee my body was broken..i think a full susser would have been easier as the other guys were like a mile infront of me all the time :(

did 20ish mile from start to finish, whole lot is around 29 mile, so i did well for my first ever trail riding i think, but my bike doesnt flow that well it seems.
