I had take the sandpaper to my superstar pads to get them to fit my Stroker Trails. Read other people had to do the same too. Seems SS get a bit carried away and don't own a ruler :D

Pedal advice needed!!

Narrowed down my choice of pedals to three:

1) Wellgo MG1
2) Superstar Nano Tech Flat or Nano Thrupin

Use is road and toepath riding and my feet are fairly small but quite wide. I'm sure one or two of you have owned both the nanos and the MG1 pedals. What difference will i notice when riding apart from the slight weight difference which doesn't really bother me?

As long as the Superstar pedals don't fall apart when riding they offer more grip than the MG-1's. The difference is the amount of pins. If the MG-1's had the same amount of pins as DMR V8/12's they would be a much better pedal.

Thanks. I did read somewhere in this thread that you had some issues with the Superstar Mag pedals but i'm guessing you were unlucky and ended up with lemons.

One thing i like about the superstar nanos is that they are only 17mm deep so look 'pretty' like the Kona Wah Wahs but i don't know how the depth of pedal would relate to comfort or performance.

Love my nano tech flats :)

I read somewhere that the lower profile not only gives more clearance for trail obstacles but also equates to the equivalent of a lower BB and in turn more bike stability. Sounds like negligable marketing BS to me.

Hahaha...Yeah i thought the same....Yeah ive had a blast out on it and it felt ok.

With the seat any higher though i feel far too much over the front end.

Really unsure now like comparing it to this :

What do you think....really unsure on what to do ...sell it and look for a large or keep this

Looks fine to me J273. You are right in the middle between the medium and large frame sizes. Smaller is always better for bike chuckability. You could always try a layback seatpost.

I think it looks fine, do you feel cramped on it? are your heels knocking the chain stays?

I'm 5'10 and ride a medium Enduro. My feet do this sometime but I thought it was down to my clunky 5.10s.

I think my bike fits me about the same as J273's. It's pretty comfortable but still quite chuckable once you get into it.

I'm 6ft 1" and ride a large Enduro SL.
You look about right on that, it's not a XC bike so you won't be stretched out.
