Well my thread hasn't gone down amazingly so I'll try in here. You've got £500-£550 to spend on a bike today, you only need the bike out of that money. You'll be using it for a 3 mile each way morning commute but also want it to do some cross country stuff (pretty beginner stuff to begin) on the weekends. What would you go for?

Just back from Laggan. Great fun. So much different to my local trail ( Carron Valley ). We did the red and missed out the black. Mini Airs rock was fun but I have to confess I chickened out of the big Airs rock itself. Doesn't look too bad when you are cycling up the firetrack road from the car park and look over at it but when you are up at the top looking down...... :D

Mate was determined to do it and after a quick recce, he did so but I wasn't following!!.

Weather was perfect, the sun came out after a dull start and the place was heaving busy. Really good set up they have up there. Can't wait to go back. :)

Thinking of selling my kula deluxe frame and getting a ragley frame again....

How much you think I could get for a 2007 20" Kula Deluxe frame with a few wee chips on it? Was the last year they used easton alloy before going to scandium afailk.

Aye and the fact it's too big for me and most people at 20".

I got a good price on the bike anyway thanks to kieran but I fancying getting an 18" mmmbop and making my 100mm forks into 130mm.

Got the oppurtunity to buy a 2008 Boardman Pro frame, no dents at all & complete with a Hope Integrated Headset for £85. Seems like a bargain to me but is that a good price?

Thanks :)

Thanks to the cycle to work scheme i just ordered my self a Trek 2.1 Road bike, cant wait to actually get my hands on it now!

how easy is it to remove the center tube from an external bearing BB?
doing up my frame at the moment and there appears to be a center tube lodged in the frame
