Im really considering getting a CCDB for my Nomad, i must be crazy, also fancy some new rims maybe ex823's, i know i have dissed tubless before but i might give some proper ust rims ago.

Go for it you wont be disappointed its an amazing shock! and ZTR rims are where it is at not Mavic :p

Not bad for £20 + a full service from Crank Brothers :D

The CCDB totally transformed my T2. It's awesome. Ichabod and Supercow will get one too. :p

Mavic is the way to go. Much more secure than the overpriced Stans for Tubeless.

Thats what i though, Mavic is the only true tubeless rims.

I weigh about 210lbs with all my kit on.

Don't worry about the weight Penalty of the CCDB. I did a climb on my local trail just as well, if not better than with the RP23. Better traction. ;)

Thats a Mavic Crosstrail Disc on the back of my On One in the photo.
It's a UST rim. Worth giving tubeless a try? Never really understood the benefit, unless you are a weight weenie.
Excuse my ignorance

Lower pressures, no tubes to mess about with are the two im interested in. I find it easier to repair a tubeless tyre, especially as you dont need to take it off the rim to do a temp repair.

Just come back from Wales Cycling and had a really good time. Did the Marin, penmachno trail and Coed-y-brein.

The trails were really good fun and had some excellent paths. My favorite out of all of them were Penmachno which we did the circuit but also the ride there was brilliant wouldn't be able to tell you the route as made it up on the map. Only thing i do regret is not spending enough time at Coed-y-brein as were only able to get 2 runs done.

This weekend going Cannock Chase

Anyone on here use any hydration tabs/drink in your camelbaks?

Thinking of getting some nuun tablets to try ...Anyone tried nuun is it ok to be used in camelbaks?

You won't necessarily save weight. Run UST tyres and you gain extra puncture protection with the thicker side walls -No weight saving. Run Tubeless Ready tyres and you lose weight but have to rely on tyre sealant as the side walls are thinner.

You can get away with runnng lower pressures but you won't necessarily wan't to run lower pressure depending on the tyre used.

I've used PSP32 and Torq. I'd not recommend PSP32 as it's far too sweet it makes your body crave fresh water, even at the correct concentration. Torq however is lovely - I use the Orange flavor and can happily sup on that all day long, it definitely works too as I get quite grumpy when I am out of energy... I haven't noticed getting grumpy on the rides where I've used it :)

Nunn tablets are nice and work fine in a camelbak. It prefer them slightly more watered down the they recommend. They're also great for hangovers.
