Haha, thats a ridiculous policy!

But then there's always the DSR. Buy the bike, sit on it when you get it, without riding it of course and see if it fits. Hardly ideal though. Alternatively, get the geometry measurements and try and similar sized hardtail from a LBS.

I'm going to be officially joining the Big Bike Thread tomorrow. Picking up a couple of Freecycle mountain bikes to do the Isle of Wight Challenge on. I'm hoping one of them will be a rigid steel frame with no suspension and 26" wheels. I just need the basic frame and running gear so I can strip it back to basics for the 18 mile cross country and kick some ass on it

Mini ride tonight to make sure everything was OK.

Then spent longer cleaning the bike than riding it

The weather is perfect in the evening now, some rain earlier in the week to firm up the tracks, but then its been nice and hot to dry it out on top.

Llandegla black here I come! It all looks OK, just want to try the black drop after the jump section and the scary bridge bit!

So long as I don't tense up and do this all will be fine! Used to doing some jumps and stuff though so fingers crossed!

I wouldn't try dropping off that bridge, I rolled it. The run off is on a slight curve if I recall. Are you talking about the drop off on the free ride track? I was worried about that, but it was easy. Its on 1 of my vids. Link below.

Only cause the diddy hit his saddle on landing causing him to pitch forward as he bounced off it....

On your Llandegla 3 video, 1 min 3 seconds in. I think thats it, looks a lot tamer there than it does stood at the top!

Its a black opt in on the red trail just after you cross a fire road. You can go right for the black drop, centre for red small hump or left for red berms.

I need someone better than me to ride with who will make me MTFU!

Oh, I know what you mean now at ~1 minute. I had some unedited video of all of that section as we tried all of it. It's tame because its not a drop, at least only a looney or a Storm Trooper on a sofa would attempt to drop/fly off it! Unless of course we're getting our wires crossed

I really want to go back to Llandegla!

Argh.. I need to stop reading this thread! Seeing everyone on here going off out riding with the nice weather out and I'm stuck here with no bike.

Hoping my insurance money comes through this week so I can buy myself a Pitch Pro, am fed up of looking for a second hand one so I'm going to treat myself to a new one!
