Ah right, fair play. I'll order some bike lube then!

Guys, any chance of a recommendation for some grips please?

Also, I used a bit of WD40 over my chain and crank, that should be okay shouldn't it?
Great stuff for around the house, but not on the bike.
User this: GT85 on the chain and derailleurs.

Edit: Nix; for grips take a look at these mate: Superstar Grips. Plenty of choice of colour and they're amazing for the money.

GT85 is basically the same type of stuff isn't it?

Good for drying out the chain, bad for lubrication.

I have always just used 3-in-1 on my chains, apply it all over leave for overnight then when im going out i dry the outside of the chain, clean when i get back and repeat.

Thanks for the advice.

I've gone ahead and ordered the Charge Sponge Grips in Chrome, as I think they'll suit my bike best.

As I was on a run, I've ordered some of that Dry Lube stuff along with some Royal Signature gloves.

Have to make sure I re-lube the chain, etc. before I take it out next if WD40's that bad!

I was going to recommend Charge Sponge grips, they are good for small hands. I think perhaps are too small for mine, but they are good though.
See how addictive this hobby is now. To quote a mate of mine, "you like to spend!"

How the hell does he do it?

And in other news, I may have just sorta bought a Cane Creek Double Barrel shock :o I'm always looking for weird and wonderful ways to ruin my bike :D

As I was giving it a wash, one of my cats took an interest...
