Cracking video! That trail looks fantastic, are there many like that in up north near the lakes? The closest one to me is Whinlatter altura trail but it's a bit rocky for my liking. A mate has suggested going up to Dumfries which is about an hour and a half drive, not sure what the trail is called yet though.

I went to Whinlatter thought it was good, not that rocky.
There's no other trail centres in the north lakes but there's loads of riding if you're ok with a map. Setting of from Stevely (wheelbase) you'll have a few places you can go.

Anybody got the Shimano M530 trail pedals in white? Wondering if they look rubbish once they've been chipped. Figured they might wear a bit better than black since you'd see silver under black once chipped, but silver on white might not look so bad?

I have them. Used them on my road bike for about a year but now I have switched to SL pedals and road shoes. I will now transfer them to my MTB I think. They do look a bit scruffy now but have served me well. If keeping something looking smart is a priority then don't get these pedals. Functionally they are very good.

How they look isn't really the top priority, just wondering as black or white is the same price so the only thing to put one above the other is how they'll look when used for 6 months.

I've got similar M520's in white on my Cube Acid. They have had a fair amount of abuse over the past couple of years including a couple of 'offs' and at Laggan a slide down Mini-Ayers rock and then Ayers rock not long after (yeah - lucky me :p ).

Despite that they still look pretty good.

Great, cheers. White it is :) New bike this Fri hopefully... getting kinda excited :D

Testing out the new fork later on some local DH trails.
Not that much heavier than the Rev really. There is a bit of a steep climb to the top of the trail, so it will get a good test later:
