I love my wife. So I bought her a Solo C.

We looked at the Juliana range. They are Santacruz bikes but without the branding. Only minor tweaks to the male versions. We opted against them because they are pig ugly. Told the rep that too!

Edit: Thread needs more e bikes. I heard they are really good!

Right, looking to swap from my 130mm travel Boardman to something a little more capable, around 150-160mm travel, I'll be spending up to £3k, really hope the wife doesn't see this post...

I think I've narrowed my choice down to 4 bikes, 2 variants of the Radon Slide, and 2 variants of the YT Capra :-

Slide 1x11 - RADON Bikes Slide Carbon 160 650B 8.0 SE
Slide 2x10 - RADON Bikes Slide Carbon 160 650B 8.0

Capra 1x11 - Capra CF Comp 1-20141900
Capra 2x10 - Capra CF Comp 2-20141800

I like the idea of 1x11 for simplicity, although I'm quite happy with my current 2x10 setup, and I've always got the price of replacement parts for 1x11 in the back of my mind too! Any opinions or other recommendations please? Cheers.

Seems crazy there even doing the comp 2, when the comp 1 is very little extra with X0.

I know very little regarding the Radon bikes but given the choice between the listed models I'd be all over the Capra Comp 1 like a rash!

Hmmm, no!

Still quite tempted by the Wicked 650b Pro, €500 cheaper then the Capra Comp-1 and €1000 cheaper than the Pro but with a similar spec and the BOS suspension form the Pro just on an aluminium frame instead!

The bonus with the Wicked is that it's available straight away too...

Had an absolute mare bleeding my Hope Tech M4's this afternoon.

Did the front all went well feels awesome much improved.

Spent 3 hours trying to do the rear only to find that the master cylinder in the leaver is just leaking. Really annoyed me there are rubber seals/diaphragms i guess im going to need to try replacing these first. Wont be able to go out tomorrow now

You should always replace the diaphragms when you bleed them really

just placed the order for 4 from CRC

the front feels awesome better than when i got them hardly any movement in the lever at all which is how i like it.

More annoyed with myself for bleeding them 3 times before i noticed it was leaking.

I was hoping to get away with not replacing them ahh well live and learn
