Biggest Letdown This Generation

I haven't had any disappointments.

I've looked at the games, ones that interest me I have bought and just taken them for what they were and enjoyed what I can.

I don't hype games up enough to ever be disappointments by them.

However, one thing did let me down, and that was Xbox live over Christmas.
 
Uncharted for me played about 20% and became fedup perhaps i should carry on it may become better.

can not put my finger on the problem thou think i was wanting more of a tomb raider kinda game,the jumping too platforms and such is done so bad compared but then it's more of a shooter i suppose.

Terrible boring cutscenes due to repetitive sub goodfellas wannabe dialogue. R* must have wasted half their $100M budget on these alone and doubt very much many people could sit through them all more than once. Should have spent more time on optimizing the game engine and raising the FPS + giving an option to take out that horrible blur filter.

The reviews made it sound as though it was the best thing ever and R* did not help as they knew it would disappoint some fans especially considering that San Andreas had a lot more to do in it after you completed the story missions.

Wonder how many of those 10/10 reviewers still stand by their scores in a few months time once they realise the GTA4 gameworld is pretty devoid of interesting stuff to do.

Sounds like you haven't looked very hard.
 
The obvious answer is Halo 3 without a doubt. Walk into my local super market to see the last copy waiting for me on release day. Thinking this will be like the second coming of Jesus. Completed the game once and then once again with a friend. Went online for one game to be greeted with swearing 12 year old kids. Needless to say the game hasn't been in my 360 for a good 6 months.

Firstly DONT talk out of your ass about the quality of dialogue, its superb and some of the best there has ever been in any game.

Second, i agree the gameworld is dull and dead once the SP is completed. Just not enough to do. 10/10 it is not but dont make out that its 'awful' because its a helluva long way from awful.

Don't get upset because some people don't think GTA IV is all that sheesh.
 
Sony binning the PS3's with backward compatibility, as well as the other little extras they chopped on the new UK version
I would have bought a PS3 months ago if they hadn't done this.
