I do, but I can think of better things to spend my money on when there are alternatives for 1/3 the price that also look great.

There's a difference in spending your money and wasting it. £230 sounds like nothing to some, my mate spent £240 on a belt (his watch is worth as much as my budget for a bike
). It all depends how much you earn and how much of that you can spend on your 'toys'.I, for example hate spending money and I usually think twice before I buy something.
Although, we do only live once and money is meant for spending.

I've been out viewing bikes today in anticipation of passing my DAS . I was intending to go adventure, but tbh, I'm silly with money and forking out a load on a first big bike would perhaps not be the most sensible thing to do.
I intend to get a good commuter which will be fun to have a blast around on weekends. I like the look of the MT-07, but it feels a bit too small. What really turned my head was a KTM 690 SMC. If I can find a reasonably priced second hand one, unless something changes my mind, I'm going to jump right in... I've always loved the looks of SMs tbh

I'd feel like a SM would want to be ragged everywhere, don't even want to know what the trip TO the Alps was like. Be great when you're there though.

I think that's what I like about (the idea of) SM's - they want to be thrown about, and seem very easy to flick about, which is perhaps why they get the "hooligan" tag
.A guy in my motorcycle club rides a KTM 690 with us everywhere, including week long trips across the Alps, France and Italy.
He has no problems with comfort or keeping up with us, although he does look daft when cornering hard with his foot out and rear wheel going sideways.

That was pretty obvious though wasn't it? A2 is 19 or older and under 23, not 18 and a few months
Well... I'll give you Poland as an example, you can start doing your exams 3 months before your birthday. But, your license is valid from the day you hit the required age (18 for A2 in Poland), you still get the plastic before your birthday within 2 weeks. But if police stop you, they'll treat you as if you were riding without license. A lot of my mates ridden bikes with license before their birthday and most policemen didn't even notice during a routine control.
I'll hold on with my search for a bike, I couldn't just watch it without jumping on it and riding it. I was naughty with the KTM, I bought it 2 weeks before my CBT.

How many days before your booking of Mod2 can you cancel it and get your money back? I'll most likely book my practical just after my birthday or on that day and do Mod2 like 4-5 days after. I would need to book it now probably, I'll book the same centre as I did my car practical.

Got caught doing 49 in a 30 this morning. Police officer took my details and gave me a warning but wow that's twice I've been caught in 3 weeks.

I've only ever been pulled once for speeding. The guy asked me if I knew how fast I was going, I replied about 30. He said he had to pull over 50 to catch me up, I made some comment about the speedo reading just above 30. He got angry and let me go.
I'd read somewhere that unless they have your speed recorded on a device, deny all knowledge. If you admit you were speeding, that can act as evidence. Not sure if it's true, but it worked that time.
