I've only ever been pulled once for speeding. The guy asked me if I knew how fast I was going, I replied about 30. He said he had to pull over 50 to catch me up, I made some comment about the speedo reading just above 30. He got angry and let me go.
I'd read somewhere that unless they have your speed recorded on a device, deny all knowledge. If you admit you were speeding, that can act as evidence. Not sure if it's true, but it worked that time .
Nope, Motorcycle Police Officer. The chap caught me with a speed gun at the the end of a Bricklayers arms flyover. He gave me a warning and I spent the rest of my journey trying to stick to the speed limit and my god that's not easy.
The thing is I'm always getting left behind at traffic lights by really fast Sports bikes and if I'm finding it difficult on a stupidly slow commuter bike what the hell would I be like on a powerful sports bike, I think I'd have lost my licence by now.
Anyone going to the MCN show over the weekend? It'll be my first time, going up on the Saturday after getting my near tyre fitted first thing Saturday morning (a new angel GT was delivered today). Hopefully there'll be a load of bargains there, I want to pick up a tomtom rider 400 and 2 kriega US20's if they're cheap enough, and some furygan leathers if there's some deals on them.

you have to resist the urge
Google maps navigation has gotten better with 'proper' offline maps and navigation, but you can't manually plan a route so for long trips it's not great.
