People who are going to the MCN show. Someone couldn't have a wee look at the Givi stand and let me know if any of the Tanklock tank bags would hold a 15" laptop could they???

Bike! Dents are only cosmetic ;)

It's a big old dent though!

First thing that went through my mind was "This wouldn't have happened on a bloody bike"

Oh it really annoys me and will get fixed sooner rather than later. I've been quoted £500 to sort it out. But it's just as I was literally a day away from buying a bike do I do that or do I get it repaired

I can if I remember, so basically you want to know if any are bloody big!? ;)

Ooh, I'd be sitting down when you get a quote for that...

Unless they can pull out the dent, that's the rear quarter panel that'll need replacing.

Cheapest I've had so far is £468.

I guess I should put the bike idea on hold for a while then. Dang

You need some parking sensors

Think you might be right there. I pulled into a parking spot I never usually use and had a weird idea of moving my car then as I started to reverse I remembered the parking lot has loads of massive pillars in there. I don't even know how I missed one but as soon as I remembered it was too late.

You win some you lose some

Pretty much yeah. I don't mind putting it in at an obscure angle as it's just for work. All I'll have in there other than that is my shoes. I quite like the semi rigid ones but worried they'll block the view of my clocks.

Thanks. :)

I have the Givi XS307 which wouldn't be big enough. They just get taller to provide capacity as far as I know, so not sure any of them would fit.

Don't worry about clocks getting blocked, you'd be surprised at how tall something needs to be before they're blocked. If you put your hand up until you cover them, you'll see how much :D

decided I'll fix the car in a few weeks. it's cosmetic and only a old 2005 ST so it's hardly winning any awards for looks anyway. Currently stuck some plasters to it for the LOLS.

Sat with my helmet on to see if it's the right one. It's pretty tight as a large but I think XL would've been a bit too loose.

The padding will flatten as you wear it so as long as it's not stupidly tight it'll bed in nicely

Great helmet, my Arai Axces 2 is great but it gets used and abused, it's already done nearly 20k miles through 2 winters. An NXR might be my next helmet for summer/touring.
