Noooo KTM, why you do this!? It's a parallel twin.
They've needed something between the 690 and 1190 engines for ages (forget the 1050, it's a bit weird) with around 120bhp, I was hoping for a 900-1000cc v-twin so that there could be a true replacement for the 990 SMT without the price tag of the 1290 GT, but if it's a parallel twin I won't be buying.
There's a severe lack of any exciting 800-1000cc sporty adventure-tourers - the MV Turismo Veloce, and the hyperstrada - but that's not really a tourer, it's a big supermoto with a screen.

Still haven't fitted mineand the more I think about it the more I'm not sure they'll be of much use, I already take up a fair bit of my bigger OEM mirrors even with extenders.
